Meet the Artist
~Tarquin Singh~
When I first tried henna as an artistic medium in 2006 I immediately fell in love with this exquisite art form and became intrigued by its timeless and transient nature. As I continue to learn about henna, the more deeply I am moved by its rich and diverse history.
As henna art becomes more popular around the world it is fulfilling for me to know that I am carrying on a tradition that has been central to
celebrations, rites of passage, and beautification for thousands of years.
I believe that henna has the ability to transcend time and place as well as connect people from all backgrounds.
The practice of henna allows me to continually interact with new people and I love that I get to share with them the magical and celebratory nature of this magnificent art form.
