Booking Your Henna Appointment

The following photos are a guideline for the amount of henna you can expect to receive during the appointment.

The time can be used however you see fit. If you want henna on different areas of the body, or two hands for example, just choose the following service that you think will fit the amount of henna you want. Feel free to get in touch with me prior to booking to get an idea of how long to book for.

Allowing me to freestyle a design will take less time than having me copy a design.

Henna takes 2 - 3days to darken, if this is for a special occasion, please plan your appointment accordingly.

Before booking an appointment at the studio, please watch the following video.
Having henna applied at the studio during cold months can be challenging because of coats and mittens etc.
You may want to bring a friend to assist you and/or grab an Uber home.
Or, consider hiring Henna Planet to come to your home for a private appointment or for a gathering of friends. Having henna applied in the comfort of your own home is often an easier experience!

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:
1. Taping: If you are getting henna done on an area of the body that is usually covered with clothing, and it is a relatively flat area of the body (such as upper arm, inner arm, back etc. ~ not places that bend like hands, wrists, and fingers), and you would like to have it dried and taped with Medipore tape so that you can put loose fitting clothing over it in order to carry on with your day (henna paste needs to remain on the skin for 6 - 8 hours - see video above), please book an extra 15 minutes.
Not recommended for those with sensitive skin.
2. Privacy: Henna services take place in a Hair Salon where others are working and getting their hair done, so there is very little privacy if you need to remove or lower clothing. Please consider hiring me for an In-Home Service for more intimate areas of the body.
3. Accessibility:Appointments take place in the basement. Even though the studio is accessible, unfortunately the basement is not. Apologies for this inconvenience.
4. Scents: Because this ia a hair studio, you may be exposed to regular salon scents such as chemicals and hair products.

In Studio Policy
Prepayment Upon Booking
In order to secure Henna Planet for your service, payment is due in full upon booking. Online booking services for Private Appointments at the studio will accept all major credit cards. If you would like to add more time to your appointment or event, and Henna Planet is available, you may pay the balance at the end of service by credit, Apple/Android pay, debit, or cash or email transfer.
Tardiness
Henna Planet rents out space at Manzer Hair Studio on a per appointment basis. Please respect the artist's time and arrive in a timely manner. If you will be late, please let the artist know, however keep in mind that you may receive abbreviated services. If you prefer, you will be allowed a one time reschedule without penalty. Subsequent requests for rescheduling will be considered a cancellation and you will need to re-book.
Refunds
There are no refunds on henna services. Please ensure that you choose the appropriate service. Get in touch if you need assistance, or have any questions, to ensure that you choose the right service for your needs.
Minimum Age
Henna is for 6 year olds and up only.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Once you have booked an event with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. To avoid a loss of your investment, please provide cancellation notice at least 48 hours prior to your start time and we will allow a one time reschedule opportunity without penalty as long as rescheduling occurs within two weeks of cancelling. Subsequent requests for
rescheduling will be considered a cancellation and you will need to rebook. If you cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before it is scheduled to take place, your appointment will be considered cancelled, you will not be able to reschedule, and you will not receive a refund.

Health and Wellness
Please be respectful of the studio guests, staff, and henna artist. If you are unwell, please reschedule. Henna Planet reserves the right to refuse service for those arriving with clear symptoms of illness. Please stay home if you are sick, otherwise your appointment may be cancelled with no refund.
Arriving with Children
Children over the age of 6 may accompany you to your appointment.
